I have been such a fan for so long, at least 13 or 14 years. I've always been a lyrics guy (probably because I used to write all the time) and I struggle to find anyone as heartfelt and meaningful as Tyrone. The only time I was able to get tickets to see him, 5 years ago, I ended up having to give them to my old neighbor and her husband because we came within a couple of hours of losing our daughter to a diabetic coma, which is how and when we found out she was a type 1...five years ago TODAY. By the grace of God, I get to say we ALMOST lost her (a rare time when almost is a very good thing). Many of the songs that you have put out since then resonate with me and strike a chord deep in my heart with the life change we have had (especially my baby girl, who spent her 14th birthday back then in the diabetic wing of Children's Hospital of Atlanta). Wanna say thanks for the music from a blue collar, 65 hour work week, getting too old southern boy...keep doin' you Mr. Wells!
